Our Story

Approximately 74% of mothers are in the workforce — and have never been given a system to help them carry it all.

Tuck & Tote makes premium modular diaper bags for working moms. One system that reconfigures in seconds, adapting to you and your day.

The System

One system. Every version of your day.

The Little Hauler is one tote and two pods: an insulated Bottle Pod and a Changing Pod with the mat built in. Each pod locks on with a quick-release magnetic locking system and comes off in one motion. Pods on, it carries a full day for you and your kids. Pods off, it's simply a beautiful bag.

Parents have adapted to products that never adapted to them.

Modern parenting means being a different person every hour of the day. Parent, professional, partner, person. The gear was never built to keep up. So mornings look like this: a diaper bag, a daycare tote, a work bag, a bottle bag, a lunch bag. Half-packed, mismatched, and heavy. You leave the house feeling behind before the day starts.

The Founder

Parenting has evolved. The gear hasn't.

Van Rene Rhoades, founder of Tuck & Tote

Tuck & Tote was founded by Army veteran, and mother of three, Van Rene Rhoades.

Built in the margins of a full life: at 5am, before work, between school runs. She went looking for the bag she needed and it didn't exist. Every option failed the same ways. Diaper bags were designed for the newborn stage and expired by toddlerhood. Work bags looked right in a meeting but couldn't hold a cold bottle. Everything had more pockets, but nothing actually adapted. The parenting industry has accepted problems it should not.

So she designed the thing she couldn't find.

I didn't set out to make another diaper bag. I set out to redesign how families carry their lives.

How It Was Built

From a 5am frustration to an award-winning system.

The Search

A mom of three goes looking for the bag she needs. It doesn't exist — every option fails the same ways.

The Design

Built in the margins — at 5am, before work, between school runs — she designs the modular system herself.

The Recognition

The Little Hauler wins a 2026 iF Design Award — recognized internationally for innovation in product design.

The Launch

The first production run is in the works, releasing in limited drops reserved for waitlist members.

You didn't lose yourself.
There just hasn't been a system that helps you carry all of you.

Somewhere between the hospital and the daycare pickup line, the gear takes over. The handbag becomes a diaper bag. You walk into a meeting and wonder if the room sees the professional or just the mom. It isn't about the bag. It's about what the bag signals — to the room and to yourself.

We build for the woman carrying all of it. You do not have to choose. You are all of it. And you can carry it.

You're not carrying too much. You're carrying too many bags.

01 Flexible

Modular by design

For all of you

We build for the woman carrying all of it. You do not have to choose — you are all of it, and you can carry it.
